BID REQUIREMENT

MCL 224.10 requires bidding by the Cass County Road Commission for tools, machines, appliances and materials costing over $10,000.  Bids must also be obtained for the purchase of passenger vehicles and trucks weighing less than 5,000 pounds.

Items that are periodically bid and the approximate time of year of the bidding are listed at the bottom of this page.  As needed, bids are also let for the purchase of equipment.  All sealed bids are received at the office of the Board of County Road Commissioners for the County of Cass, 340 North O'Keefe St,  PO Box 68, Cassopolis, MI 49031.  The date and time of each bid letting will be specified in the individual bid.
