PERMITS
Permits are issued for various activities in, on or adjacent to
roads under the jurisdiction of Cass County Road Commission. To view a sample of

Generally, permits are issued to be valid for the calendar year; however, since
in 2005 the Cass County Road Commission will be changing to a fiscal year ending
September 30th, all permits (except pier permits) will expire on September 30th
of each year.
The following is a listing of
permit fee which were adopted at the public hearing held October 20, 2005

- Subdivision deposit

Driveway $100.00 (culvert installation to be determined)
- Residential Driveway or
Field Entrance $50.00 (culvert installation $500.00)
- Logging $50.00
- Pier $50.00
(requires $500,00 general liability insurance)
- Parades & Runs
$100.00 (traffic control costs to be determined)
- Bore under road $40.00 plus
$200.00 inspection deposit
- Tapping storm or sanitary
sewer $40.00 plus $1,000 inspection deposit
- Sewer installation $100.00
plus deposit to be determined
- Annual
Oversize/Overweight $100.00
- One time move (up to 16'
wide) $50.00
- House move & other
$50.00 (traffic control to be determined)
- Utilities Annual Maintenance
& Service Connections $50.00
